Darbond® Chemical Resistant Coating1402

Introduction

Darbond® 1402 chemical resistant coating is a composite material. It is made of special epoxy, wear resistant ceramic and special crystal mineral powder. Low viscosity, brushable, trowelable, non-sagging on vertical surface. Cured coating is firm and compact and has excellent property of extreme chemical resistance.

Typical Properties

  • Two component.
  • Low viscosity, brushable, trowelable, non-sagging on vertical surface.
  • Modified epoxy, special crystal mineral power added, compact coating.
  • Extreme chemical corrosion resistance.
  • Designed to rebuild and corrosion prevent metal against corrosion of acid and alkali solution and seawater in industry and mine.

 Typical Applications

  • Used for rebuilding and protecting metal material and concrete against corrosion of acid or alkali solution and seawater in industry and mining.
  • The product resists general strange acid and alkali.
  • Also used for rebuilding and protective coating of various corroded pipeline, pump, valve, pot, kettle, exchanger, FRP and concrete storage tank etc.
